  • Stunning Ly Nha Ky in her last appearance at Cannes 2018

    From her outfit to her complexion, film investor and producer Ly Nha Ky continued to position herself as one of the VIP guests at Cannes Film Festival 2018. 

    When all the megastars gathered on Cannes red carpet for the last time this year, Ly Nha Ky joined with the most gorgeous and talented group of people down the walk of fame in Cannes 2018 closing ceremony. 

      

    When the Golden Palm this year surprisingly went to the Japanese film Shoplifters by HirokazuKoreeda, Ly Nha Ky could not hold her wonder: “This was such an awe for everyone, Korean director Lee Chang Dong with his movie Burning was almost definitely favor to win.”

     

     

     

    After the ceremony, Ly Nha Ky, along with her team and international friends sat down and watched the movie The man who killed Don Quixote as the last activity of Cannes 2018. 

    Ly Nha Ky has spent the last few days at Cannes exchanging ideas with directors, producers, and many partners about future plans. Soon, she will be welcoming a famous producer to Vietnam to do research for a film about Vietnamese culture. 

     

    As for her appearances on Cannes red carpet this year, we all fell in love in love with her again and again, even Cannes organizers and international journalists. They even duped her “A breeze of the East at Cannes.” 

    Many prestigious French magazines considered this beauty a very special and talented individual from Asia, and such appreciation was visible on many famous platform like Vogue, Gala, Screen,… All agreed that a woman who as successful as her in many fields was nothing less than a phenomenon at Cannes. 

     

    With utmost effort put in every single outfits, maintaining her status as a one of the most well-dressed sophisticated woman on the red carpet, Ly Nha Ky was serving endless inspiration of fashion and insightful artistic view at many events. To her, this is one the ways to pay respect to this magical industry as well as to the other creators and performers at the festival. 

     

    Not only busy as fashion icon, Ly Nha Ky dedicated herself into promoting culture and tourism of Viet Nam through fashion namely the pristine lotus traditional aodai of Viet Nam, and the marvelous Ha Long Bay gown, brining Vietnam closer and closer to the world. 

     

    To her opinion, the annual Cannes Film Festival this year included films of considerably equal investment and many big name celebrities. Especially this year, Cannes organizers have shift their focus more and more on events and celebrity guests related to the hot issue of gender equality.


     

     

    And Angel Face – one of the candidates for Un Certain Regard co-produced by Ly Nha Ky, unfortunately did not win, but it was such an honor to her and the team to be nominated. “Where we are today is already the biggest motivation for myself to keep improving in my new role. And now, I am more than ready to continue my work in the film industry,” said the wonderfully talented Ly Nha Ky.
